Kristi specializes in helping individuals heal from childhood and relationship trauma, guiding them to create fulfilling lives where they feel balanced, valued, and emotionally secure. Her compassionate, non-judgmental approach helps clients break free from old patterns, build confidence, and learn to prioritize themselves.
You’re here because, despite doing everything you can to keep it all together, life still feels out of control. Between career demands, family responsibilities, and the weight of past trauma, you’ve been carrying the needs of others, often leaving little time or energy for yourself. Now, you’re ready to reclaim balance, heal deeply, and build a life that feels genuinely fulfilling and centered on you.
I work with clients who seek a deeper understanding of themselves—often folks who have already done some healing but still carry unresolved pain, anxiety, or a sense of overwhelm. Whether you’re facing family issues, past traumas, feeling alone, boundary challenges, or the weight of feeling responsible for others’ emotions, we’ll work together to create clarity, resilience, and balance.
Creating Lasting Change Takes Time.
Therapy with me is a collaborative journey. Meaningful, lasting change requires patience, time, and a relationship built on trust, respect, and warmth. My goal is to provide a space where you feel safe, respected, and supported as we build a roadmap for your healing and envision a life that goes beyond therapy.
My approach is rooted in compassionate curiosity. I’m here to walk alongside you, exploring the layers of your unique experiences and uncovering the patterns that shape your life. Using therapeutic frameworks such as Mindfulness, Somatic Work, Compassion Focused, ACT, DBT, Exposure work, CPT and a trauma-informed lens, we’ll work beyond surface-level conversations to connect past and present, making way for a life that feels fulfilling and empowered.
Think of our work as careful excavation. Processing trauma can feel like unearthing a fossil—something significant exists beneath the surface, but we’ll unearth it gradually, layer by layer. Many feel eager to dig it all up at once, but I’ve found it more effective to go slowly, allowing transformation to happen in manageable steps. Moving too fast can be overwhelming; my goal is to make therapy a safe, nurturing experience.
In our work, we often uncover significant patterns shaped by experiences like childhood trauma, family dynamics, people-pleasing, or feelings of inadequacy. These influences may have once served as coping mechanisms but can now feel limiting or maladaptive. Together, we’ll explore these patterns to clarify which beliefs and habits support your growth and which may need transformation, allowing you to move forward with a renewed sense of freedom and purpose.
In our sessions, whether virtual or in person, I see the therapy room as a container for your experiences—a place to explore, unpack, and sort through whatever you’re carrying. This is your journey, but you’re not alone. I’m here to support you every step of the way as healing, self-compassion, and genuine transformation take root.
Maybe you’ve been in therapy before, read the books, or tried other tools but still feel something is missing. My approach goes deeper, working to uncover and transform the patterns that keep you feeling stuck. As a social worker with a trauma-informed focus, I consider the impact of systemic factors like family history, intergenerational trauma, and societal pressures on your well-being. You are the expert on yourself, and together, we’ll explore what truly works for you, finding tools that fit realistically into your life.
You’ve worked hard to achieve the life you have, and to the outside world, it may look like you have it all. Yet beneath the surface, there’s a part of you that feels unfulfilled, seeking something deeper and more sustaining. With over 17 years of experience as a therapist, I bring both a compassionate and insightful approach tailored for ambitious women like you—those who value their success but know that true satisfaction requires more than just outward accomplishments. I draw on a diverse background, including intensive work in trauma and resilience and a creative lens that adds depth to my practice. My approach is collaborative, centered around understanding the challenges that often go unspoken—the internal conflicts, patterns from the past, or everyday pressures that can drain joy and peace. Together, we’ll work to create alignment between your inner world and the life you’ve built, allowing you to experience a new level of clarity, self-trust, and fulfillment that enhances every area of your life. If you’re ready to move past surface-level success and build something genuinely meaningful, I’m here to help you make that journey.
My clients describe me as grounded, compassionate, and real. I value integrity deeply—saying what I do and doing what I say. I also practice what I preach; I am fully present in our work together and engage in regular peer consultations to continue growing as a therapist. Clients feel comfortable knowing they’re working with someone who has not only the training and experience but also the empathy that comes from having walked a similar path.
